If you are like me then you love Alfredo Sauce. I like em on my pizza, pasta, casserole… get the idea. So here is the process to make it at home.

  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can evaporate milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese


Melt butter on the stove-top in a heavy saucepan or the top of a double boiler over medium-low or medium heat. Add evaporated milk, chicken bouillon, the garlic, and white pepper.  In a bowl, mix cornstarch and regular milk.  Stir until well incorporated, then pour into the saucepan with other ingredients. Bring mixture to a simmer, stirring often.  

Next, add the Parmesan cheese and continue to simmer for 5-8 minutes or until the sauce has thickened and is smooth. When the sauce has thickened add the mozzarella cheese and stir until smooth. 

Now you can add it to whatever you like. Enjoy!
