What type of beef is the best for curry?

You should steer towards a less tender cut like beef chuck or flap meat. Short ribs, boneless or not, will also make a great curry.

Beef curry needs to be simmered until the beef is tender, the sauce has reduced and the flavors intensified. A lean or tender cut of meat will become dry and overcooked by the time the sauce has reached its maximum flavor potential

Spicy Beef Curry is one of the most common and famous south Asian dishes. It tastes as good as it looks. below are the ingredients and preparation

Ingredients

  • 1 & 1/2 pound Beef

  • 1 cup onion thinly sliced

  • 6 whole peeled garlic

  • 4 thai chili

  • 2 cardamom pods

  • Cinnamon as you like

  • 2 cloves

  • 4 whole black pepper

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 2 & 1/2 ts ginger paste

  • 1 & 1/12 cumin powder

  • 2 ts chili powder

  • 1 ts turmeric powder

  • 1 & 1/12 coriander powder

  • 1 & 1/2 garam masala

  • Salt as you like

  • 4 ts Corn or Vegetable oil

Directions

  • On a boal have all the beef stew.
  • Add onions, garlic, thai chili, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, whole black pepper, bay leaf, ginger paste, cumin powder, chili powder, turmeric powder, corriendar powder, garam masala, salt and finally add oil.
  • mix it up and let it marinate for while.
  • Cook it for 10 minutes and add water to have the gravy. In a high to medium heat let it cook for another 10 minutes until juices are slightly thickened.
  • Serve over rice, Enjoy!
